The place

What it islike

The point runs two miles north from the ferry landing and holds about forty houses, half of them worth looking at. Fog sits on it until eleven most mornings from September onwards.

There is one shop, one boatyard and a school with sixty children. The road ends at the light, which is the reason nobody passes through.
