Kestrel Point
A stone tower on the last of the headland.
The house
Verrier stacked the house rather than spreading it, so the plot is almost entirely left alone. The principal room is at the top, four storeys up, with water on three sides and no other building in the frame.
It is built of the same stone as the light-keeper’s cottage two hundred metres away, cut from the same seam.
