Slate Point Residence
Cantilevered eleven metres over the bluff.

The house
The structural glass corner took Aoki + Vance two years and three engineers to get signed off. Standing in it, the floor simply stops and the water is four hundred feet below with nothing in the way.
Everything else in the house is quiet by comparison, which is the point. The material palette is three items long: pale concrete, blackened steel, and white oak. There is no skirting anywhere in the building.
Shown by appointment only, accompanied.
